Сегодня в Автономном университете Барселоны начал свою работу международный конгресс "Ираноязычные кочевники евразийских степей: скифы, сарматы, аланы". В форуме участвуют 70 специалистов стран Европы, Азии, Северной и Латинской Америки, и среди них 11 ученых, представляющих Северную Осетию, Южную Осетию и осетинскую диаспору в Москве. Как сообщил корреспонденту "Кавказского узла" один из участников конгресса Тамерлан Салбиев, все члены осетинской делегации выступят с докладами - согласно регламенту, тезисы докладов на английском и французском языках заблаговременно были направлены в оргкомитет.

"Инициатором проведения конгресса стал известный профессор из Барселоны Агустин Алемань. В течение двенадцати лет он собирал материалы для диссертации, посвященной мифологии и языкознанию народов Северного Кавказа, неоднократно приезжал в Северную Осетию. На основе диссертации он издал книгу "Аланы в древних и средневековых письменных источниках", которая вышла на трех языках - французском, английском и русском. Труд ученого был отмечен премией правительства Каталонии, и на эти средства профессор Агустин Алемань проводит международный конгресс", - рассказал кандидат исторических наук Тамерлан Салбиев накануне вылета в Испанию.

Предполагается, что участники конгресса в течение четырех дней сосредоточат свои усилия на археологии, истории, культуре и мифологии ирано-язычных кочевников. По словам руководителя группы ученых Северной Осетии профессора Руслана Бзарова, специалисты, изучающие развитие восточных цивилизаций, считают необходимым создать международную ассоциацию алановедов, рассчитывая при этом на действенную помощь государственных структур.

"Парижский институт языков восточных цивилизаций и Автономный университет Барселоны подтвердили свою готовность выступить в качестве учредителей, и ждут аналогичных шагов со стороны российских специалистов, ученых и официальных властей", - сообщил корреспонденту "Кавказского узла" Руслан Бзаров и добавил, что соответствующее обращение направлено руководству Северной Осетии.
